Moving frags from old tank to new

So I just finished cycling a 75g tank and have a 30g reef tank currently. The plan is to move the fish (2 designer clowns), a cleaner shrimp and bta to the new tank eventually. I have several frags in the 30g currently but yesterday I tested both tanks to see what the parameters are and if I could start moving things over. There’s a huge difference in some of the levels between the tanks so if someone can offer some advice as to what to move and when I would appreciate it!

I have 2 acros, a birdsnest, couple different montis, shrooms, zoas, Xenia, toadstool, Kenya tree, goni, 2 favia, 2 ricordeas, 2 cyphastrea, setosa and a frogspawn. I think that’s it.

Ammonia in both tanks is 0. Nitrite in the new tank is .1, 0 in the old tank. Nitrate is .5 in the new tank, 5 in the old. Calcium is 385 in the new tank, 540 in the old tank. Mag is 1200 in new tank, 1515 in the old. Alk is 9 in the new tank, 16 (!) in the old tank. Ph is 8.3 in the new tank, 8 in the old. Salinity is 1.024 in both.

Am I able to move some of the softies now? I would like to move the frogspawn since it’s mad at the alk, it’s been slowly rising over the last month or two and I can’t get it lower but I don’t want to upset the frogspawn anymore.

A couple things...

If you are getting a detectable level of Nitrites, I don't think it's fully cycled.

16 is really high alk, how did it get so high?

You can dose things to make the levels similar.

Last, when I buy corals online, I have no idea what the sellers parameters are most of the time. Just acclimate the corals and put them in.

Also I think I'd bump that salinity up a little bit, but that's just me.

It’s the end of the cycle, should have worded it that way.

I have no idea how the alk got that high. I use Red Sea reef pro salt and don’t dose anything except reef roids occasionally and Red Sea AB+. The tank is a PITA because the filter doesn’t work right, the skimmer is super finicky and doesn’t work right and the power heads are cheapy sunsun ones that don’t suction to the glass anymore so they don’t properly circulate the water. I’ve tried everything to get the alk down with no luck.

Ah gotcha. I would think water changes would help get ALK down but not if your salt you are using has high alk...although I don't know of a salt that has that high of alk.
