Is moving a frag from my frag rack with a par level of 190 to a permanent spot where it's about 320par too much too fast? I'd kind of not like to experiment as it's a Walt Disney Acro frag. I've had it for a week and it seems to really like my water chemistry and has full polyp extension. I feel it's not coloring up due to not enough lighting. Levels are Alk 8.1DkH, Ca 430ppm, Mg 1280ppm, No3 1ppm and Po4 0.08ppm.

Yup, I wouldn't rush it.
It'd prob be fine but not worth the risk.

I usually move my frag rack gradually up in the tank to acclimate to the higher light. Then when it's at or really close to the same light level, I move it to it's final spot.

Problem is, is that it's at the max level without moving my light and I don't want to mess with the other corals.

That's always the hard part because the frag rack is on the edge of the light. I actually clip on a spare kessil that I just shine over the frag rack for that purpose.

If I could talk the wife into an AI Prime I’d probably do the same lol. But at the moment I need a new light for the planted tank. My old R420r 16k I don’t think will cut it and I’d like to get the new Fluval 3.0.

Depending on what the other corals are - they will probably also be fine with a gradual increase - if you check my build in signature - where the GSP are is about 500 PAR not the top. Noting that most people say GSP like low light

WD is a highly durable, tolerant and forgiving tenuis. Mine has been to visit beelzebub and back, and continues its strong growth and development. I'd probably give it a chance at the new location.
