Just ordered a Red Sea C-250! I currently have a Coralife Bio 29 gallon. I know how to go about moving everything, using new sand, my rock and new rock and then my water with added water, etc. But, my question is, when I put the 'new' live sand in, and then add the water, it is going to be cloudy as all get out. Is that going to hurt my corals and fish when they go in? It's not like I can keep them in the old tank until it settles. Suggestions? Comments?

Thanks,

Tony Trego

No done 5 to 6 moves and add sand live rock then add water. Use a plate to run water on or use a hose to help keep cloudiness down. When all is moved add a bottle of clear up product if u want to get your water but clear but will not harm. I would make sure all your rock is cured and don't risk spikes that way

Set the tank up and wait a week or two before moving stuff over. IMO your rushing it, I use the old rock with no corals on it to seed the tank, same with the sand if you want. Everything takes time.
