Moving house! help first time moving a reef tank

Hello
I have to move house within the next 2 months ish
The tank I currently have is a waterbox 35 gallon


I have just purchased a innovative nuvo 25 lagoon to put in my new house n set us as sort of hold tank so I can transport all my corals and fish without having to move the tank aswell all in the same day. I plan to set the fission up as a frag tank with just racks and no sand after I have moved the waterbox in to new house .

basically my question is how do I set this nuvo25 up without having to set up and cycle from start?
Should I set the new tank up from dry with my current tank water ?
so many questions and tips and experiences would be appreciated

Take half the rock from your current tank and move it to the new tank. Make sure to keep rock wet and your good to go.
