Hey guys I am new to the forms but not the hobby but have no clue how to relocate my tank. About 2 or 3 week ago I drove the 5 hours to set up my new tank and start the cycle. I won't be back until I move with all my stuff and my 2 clown fish and a hand full of corals. I had my mom test the parameters of the tank and everything looks good so far. I will not be able to do any water changes until the fish are in which will be by mid May. Does anyone know if this is going to be a problem? If so any solution? Also do I feel that my corals will be ok?

Tank will only be cycled for a few weeks at that point, so I'd tell her to ghost feed the tank, make as if there are fish in there, keep the natural balance going, that way when you add the fish, it shouldn't jump any of the numbers.

Welcome to R2R . Did you have any friends who cant help with you corals for save kip before you finish move to new place?

I'd have her drop some food in every day. Won't hurt anything. You could also, or, have her dose Ammonia in there during the cycle to keep up going longer, that would build up some great bacteria.
