Hey guys what's up? Moving from my Trailer to a house this weekend. Been having problems with cyano and i was wondering if i got rid of my sand bed would it mess up the move by getting rid of to much beneficial bacteria? I will be keeping everything submerged in water and won't take long to get to my new house like 10 15 min suv will be air-conditioned. Will any of my inhabitants die from not having sand? Tank is 45 gallon and i have 1 fire fish goby, 1 green and 1 black gold chromies, 3 blue legged hermit, one emerald crab, 1 conday annemone, purple mushrooms and green zoa, and 3 Rhodactis sp. Thanks guys.

I wouldn't risk beeping the sand.

You could always wash your sand. I have purchased complete setups where I had to wash the sand, did so, and had no ill effects. Just washed in our well water we have out here. Good luck with the move!
