Hello! My nem has been on the same isolated rock at center of the tank for 12months. Ive been able to restrict its movement by turning the rock untill it finds the nice big hole again for its foot, (tries to move every cpl months) this time its moved in the night & is now on the main rock formation, will it destroy every coral in its wake??? Its a fair size tank and has a bit to go before im worried about the wavemakers, clowns are still hosting the rock lol, but dont think they are aware its gone yet lol as lights still out (looking under red) thx

It will sting what ever gets around it, or it runs over.

Unfortunately it will sting anything it touches. Do you target feed your nem? One way to help them stay put is to fees it. Whenever I get a new nem I feed it as soon as it will take food, if it gets fed frequently it usually won't go on a walk looking for a new spot.

Yes it gets a squirt of mysis/brineshrimp now & then when feeding aswell as the clowns feeding it. Its been in the tank 12 months now on a solitary rock front & center of tank(check pic) the rock has a nice hole for its footing, so when he does start to wander i just rotate the rock until he finds the hole again, done this about 3 times over the year. Fortunately when the lights came on it had moved to a non supporting rock(with some gsp on). I was able to place this rock back infront of his usual rock, hes now back home on his usual holey rock
