Good morning everyone,
So my Fiance and I bought our first house! Yay we're in Escrow!
Currently I am running a Red Sea Reefer 250, but my plan is to get a Reefer 525xl with my tax return next year, so I want to start preparing. One of my big steps is I want to re-do my aquascape a bit different and would like to spent more time on it (actually break the live rock and make the aquascape). I guess my question is what is my best route to doing this? I dont want to have to re-cycle my tank and would like to just move things over (including filter media) when I get my new tank next year. Should I cure the live rock in a bucket with a heater for a month or so before, then remove them, break them apart and form my aquascape, then place back in the bucket for the time being? Or would it be better to just get dry rock, and then I dont have to deal with that aspect?
