I'm going to be moving homes pretty soon and I want to know what is the safest and the easiest way to move my tank it's only a 6 gallon so it shouldn't be too much but still want to know since its my first time moving a tank

I just moved. I set up a biocube at my new house with water from my tank at the old house. Moved all my livestock the fully drained the tank and simply moved it. Don't try to move a full or partially full tank. It's a disaster waiting to happen.

I'd use 5g buckets, one for livestock, one for sand and rock, maybe have enough SW to do a WC after or during setup.
If your sand is over a year old sometimes we ditch it or at least rinse in SW
That size should go easy, but pizza and beer often goes a long ways in tank move helpers!

Thats really easy. Get a plastic tote from home depot or lowes with a lid maybe a 12 gallon rinse it out with R.O. water put the water and everything in the tote but leave the sand in the tank. Then put your lid on your tote you may want to use a battery operated bubbler in the tote to keep the stuff alive depending how far your moving it.
