Moving question.

I am moving my aquariums to my new house in a few days and I am just wondering, when i move my reef tank should i remove the frags from the rock (the ones held on the rock by glue not the anemone I dont wanna hurt it) or should i keep everything attached and just keep the rocks submerged in rubber mades

The nem is in a weird place, I need hopefully will be able to transfer it without the nem getting crushed between the side if the container and the rock. Theres some bumpy roads on the way to my new place. Thinking if moving is so stressful.

Would you keep all the water or have premixed water ready at the new home and just keep enough water to transfer coral and fish

I’ve moved my tank twice, both times I’ve used 50% old water and 50% new water. Then always have some on hand the next few weeks just in case you have an ammonia spike from the move.

Leave them on and covered with water. You can use old water or new water and long it is the same salinity.

I wanna try and keep my water because I wanna get the nutrience up in the water and would hate to do a premature water change

How big of tank are you moving? That’s a definite factor also. My tanks only a 32g nano. So I was able to leave the sand and a few inches of water in it. I put rocks in Rubbermaid(CAREFULLY not damaging coral or my 2 nems) full of the tank water. I plastic wrapped the top so no water could get out too

I'm only worried about stress on fish and coral. It's a 20 min drive so it wont be awful. My 10g nano was super easy to move when I first got it.
