I have a flock of Orange Ricordea growing on a rock with other coroals and I am going to do a little bonsai re-scaping.

The others SPS/LPS on the rock I can definitely clip away and re-attach somewhere else.

However, I'm not sure what I can do with the Ricrodea.

I've never heard of anyway of dislodging them but if there are any tricks out there, please let me know.

Another other option is just repositioning the rock they are already on and just flipping it over. This would help my aqua-scape.

I assume the Ricordea would just slowly migrate back towards the top of the rock and reposition themselves.

Of course, I guess could just bring the whole rock into the LFS or see if anyone is interested in purchasing but it's a pretty big chunk. The Ricordea cover about 1/3 of the piece.

Any thoughts greatly appreciate.

You can cut them with razor blade, scalpel, scissors and then place in a bowl/bag of rubble/shells where they should re-attach.
