For the longest time, I’ve wanted to transition the rock nems from their 10 gallon (species specific) to a bigger tank. I purposely put them in the laundry room when we bought our home so that it would motivate me to get a bigger display. A year and a half later, I finally bought the fusion 25 lagoon to make that happen.
The tank and stand were delivered today and boy what a journey that stand was! First we had to take off the wrapping paper…

Which was a hot mess. We learned our lesson with the second side lol

It wasn’t too hard to finish after that, now onto the fun part!

Roughly the layout I’m going for. These are the new dry base rocks and I’ll be transferring all the existing live rock from the 10 over.

Ps. The hubby has a new freshwater tank for his catfish that he’s working on. It’s our aquarium wall now lol

After a small set back from the stock pump dying, I finally got the tank filled up and heat circulating. My LFS brought back so many gorgeous nems from Chicago over the weekend so I HAD to pick some up lol

Then I spent the day transferring everything over from the 10 gallon, equipment cleaned and reset to the 25. Then the rocks, new nems, and Big D (the damsel). Oh and the crabs. Overall, nems got a bit mad but they’re doing well about 30 min later. Found about 15 babies I didn’t know I had lol so that was fun.

Fun fact, baby nems like to be comfy. As evidenced by the shell bro.

Finally took some pictures with the color correction. The tank has a handful of blue leg hermits, a few nerite, a few trochus, and a tiny 6 line, orchid dottyback, and a bigger tail spot blenny.
