I moved my 60gallon half full across the city (LA) with towering rockwork using nifty thoughtfulness.
I then had to slide it across my dining room to make way for my big project underway.
I've also transported my 10 gallon to work and to a new office at work since then...
Your tank is small. As an engineer, your concerns should be those legs on your stand shearing. It's a heck of a lot easier than you think (been there....).
My recommendation: bribe 2 strong people to help you with pizza and libation. Drain whatever you can out of the tank. Maybe at least take a quarter out (5 to 10 gal) get 2 2x4's or 4x4's and put them in between the legs, spanning the bottom of the table. Have your bribeies lift by the 2x4's and shuffle their feet.
Do not slide that table. Even with your slippers under the legs, that table is liable to buckle. Not worth it.
