need thoughts on moving contents of 90 gal DT and 100 gal sump to new house.
I will have a new 100 gal DT set up in advance with half of my live rock with the rest to move later.
The trip is 3hrs door to door.
the fish and rock are 6yrs old.
how much of a die off should I expect from the trip.

Thoughts or comments appreciated

We moved the contents of a 500 gallon tank three hours away. We filled a bunch of huge 50 gallon barrels with aquarium water. Wrapped rock and corals in bubble wrap and put them in. Captured fish and put them in separate containers. We loaded them into the back of a truck and drove them. We had a 300 gallon up (downsized) and waiting. We filled it with as much water as we brought and added more freshly made along with new sand. We lost nothing. It’s doable just really time consuming and labor intensive.
