So I am moving my tank to a new stand. It is a 29 gallon tank. The tanks are within 1/2 inch of each other height wise. The top of the new stand is 3/4 inch pine wood but it is removable. I was thinking about draining the tank (putting water in 5 gallon buckets to reuse) pretty much all the way except a few inches and slowly moving the stand it is currently on out from the wall and moving the new stand in its place. Then remove the 3/4 inch pinewood and slide the tank onto the plywood while two people are holding the plywood. After that just slide the pinewood top in place and secure it. I figure the tank would probably be about 125ish lbs so 2 people should be able to hold it for the five seconds that would be needed to move to the stand.

Anything I am not thinking about or does this seem like it would work?

Make sure the rock is steady. The slightest wobble might topple rocks and smash a pane of glass. I'd pull out any rock that isn't glued down or resting firmly on the bottom in the sand.

my rocks are really solid.the ones on the bottoms are the widest part and are flat on the sand and anything I stacked is glued down solid and won’t wobble.

Well the tank is now on it’s new stand. Didn’t have any problems and was pretty easy. We just took most of the water out, shimmed the old stand to match the height of the new stand and slid it over. Was pretty easy since it was only 29g tank.
