moving tank

ok so i have my rubber maid tubs filled with tank water from the 75 all my corals and fish are in one and the other tub has all my live rock with water from the tank. still have to find some people to help me pick up the tank and dismanted the sump and al the plumbing then i get to put it all back piece by piece. anything i should watch out for in this transaction there will be allot of new water possibly 50-60% percent

I Think I Would Get Some Used Water Out Of Someone Elses System For Some Of The Water To Fill The Tank Back Up. I Can Give You Some Let Me Know When You Need It And The Help

I have moved several tanks over the years and never was able to keep, but about 30% to 40% of the old water and it worked out fine.

well tommy the tank is drained to the sand and i have about 25 or 30 gal of usable water thats holding my coral and fish and such lol but im hopeing that i can atleast get the old stands out of the one and get the custom stand i made into place all i need is a couple people to come help me with picking this thing up lol. i would greatly enjoy any help that is offered and the water idea sounds good ( considering im out of reef crystles so i dont even have any other water going right now just my 40ish gallon tub with my live rock in it the water in there looks horrible with detriuts and stuff the rest seems fine so i think once i get a couple of the guys over here and get this show on the road. only positive all my levels should be at 0 after this water change lol

thanks guys due to my recent DUI im left with no vehical right now making my hobby/addiction allot harder but i will never give up my little piece of the ocean lol while im doing all these changes i plan on redoing the aquascape since i had to take all the rock out. also i want to T off either my drain line or return line to provide flow to the refug i had it rigid mith a maxi jet for the return back to the sump and was pulling water from the sump with a powerhead 802 i know its riged up but it works a little film from not enought flow in the water in area but hey i have a true low low flow refug
