I've been lurking here for a few years and have done a previous build thread in the welcome section. Fast forward 2.5 years later and the wife and I have purchased an apartment. That means tank upgrade!
Here's the current tank, a 420 liter display (140x50x60 cm).

What I am going to:
Tank:
720 liters (190 gal)
Ultra clear view glass (same as Red Sea)
200 cm length
60 cm height
60 cm width
Stand:
210 cm length
95 cm height
75 cm width
Sump w/ volume & configuration to change 15% of display without turning off pumps or pulling water from the display
100 liters RODI
Electronics and draws over to the right of the stand for dry storage and the PBL's to be locked away from the kids.
Equipment:
3 x G3 pro w/ TIR lenses
2 x G4 pro
Nyos 220 skimmer
Vectra L1 return pump
2 x 100W UV Filters
Tunze ATO
2 x Jecod ballast pumps
4 x MP40's (2 x current gen, 2 x previous gen)
Approach:
I primarily work from home, so I am building myself a dream tank, but at the same rate travel quite a bit for work. Goal is ultra low maintenance and going overkill in some areas on equipment to limit the work for my wife while I am gone. Right now I am still conducting research for my final decision on if I am going to go DSR or Triton.
Livestock:
Tank is going to focus on tangs, wrasses of SPS. Will be technically a mixed reef like I am with now, but I will likely be quite lite on the LPS, in favor of moving my current LPS to a desktop lagoon system for my office.
The below list is still very much in progress, but the overall goal is to trim down this list to fit to ~25 fish (perhaps even less as each tank has it's own sweet spot). I've also listed which month that I intend to add the fish, but even the best laid plans can be wasted. Still of course debating which tangs and some of the smaller fish.
Install date is set for February 1st, 2017.
