hello ev1 I need advice in how to move my 7 fishis and my 100 pound of live rock whit corals and some zoas frags and many other things in my 90 gallon tank and 30 gallon sup the problem i got is that my DT has ick yeap I know :-( so what im trying to do is to cure the tank so pls give me ideas pls how to move it 30 miles away and cure the tank to, thx ev1

I've been wracking my brain on this one. I'm moving from one 140 gallon to another in my house. In the end, it appears as though I need at least 2 in between tanks if I'm going to pull this off and get rid of my flatworm and maybe some other little unknown pests. I think you need one tank exclusively for fish and you will need to use that to treat for ick. You need all new water for your new tank and you need a tank to treat your coral in on the way to the new tank. So, I think the key is to pull off a proper quarantine procedure while you're doing the move.
So what you saying is QT for fish right? Ok. And QT tank for the live Rock whit all corals?? Why?? I was thinking bayer bath ? Good or not? And for DT i was thinking bleach out and let it run for days then vinegar then regular rodi water till amonia is gone ?? Any idea if this is good ??

Yes QT for fish. In my case, the rock has to be treated because of the flatworm. It is all over my rock. The recommended procedure for FW is Flatworm eXit so here's my plan so far: I'll start by trapping the wrasses. They stress easy and if I chase them into the sand, I'll never get them out alive. Fortunately, I have a good trap so that's step one. After that, I have to remove all coral in order to catch the other critters. Depending on how the trapping goes, I suppose I could patiently trap them all. Once I have my critters out, I'll put the coral back in and treat for eXit. After that, I haven't quite decided what other treatments to try. I'm reluctant to kill off all the good stuff living in my rock after 4 years of building it up. So the jury is still out.
You can put all your livestock in large Sterilite containers for transport; you'll need heater(s) and an airstone/small pump if they are meant to stay in there for long. With the fish, keep a bottle of ammonia reducer handy - that will buy you 2-3 days.
