so guys as you may know I started reef keeping not long ago, maybe around 4 months ago, but I just got news that i’m probably moving to North Carolina all the way from Hawaii. I plan on bringing my saltwater fish with me which is just a false perc and a green blue chromis, and I know how to get the fish on the plane and all that, but the issue is we have to stop in washington first for a couple days and then it’s a 4-5 road trip from there. I planned on setting up a 5 gallon bucket with a HOB filter in washington and bringing it in the car all the way to NC and just plugging it in every time I make a stop at a hotel. I then plan on setting up a 10 gallon temporary tank right when I get to NC with live rock and bare bottom for the time being. anyone got any suggestions?

Is there anyone who can house them then ship you your fish once you're there? This a complicated move, and that would be best as opposed to that long of a move.

Hang on back filter woulf work if you must take them the whole trip. Also battery powered air pumps with an air stone is what I'd suggest when something can't be plugged in.

if there was someone I could ship them to I would. I was also thinking I could pick up some LR in washington because my uncle has multiple established tanks up there. I could probably get my hands on an air stone too. luckily both my fish are incredibly hardy and healthy. This is probably months down the line but I’m planning in advance.
