hey y'all so I'm moving in two days I think I have a solid plan the only thing I'm wondering about is if I bought a new garden hose about fifty feet long( I'm going to syphon the water from my tank on the second story) that the hose wouldn't mess up my water in any way.
I'm trying to save all the water from my tank.
Does anyone see a problem with using a garden hose to do this?

Thanks
Justin

Just a guess, but I wouldn't think there would be any issues. I might suggest running a gallon or two of you tank water through it and discarding it, that way you can wash out any dust or particles that may be in the hose without having to run tap water through it.

Yea that's a good idea I didn't think of thank u sir

I guess it would depend on the hose. Some cheaper hoses are known to have bad stuff in them and your not supposed to drink from them. I think I would get some clear tubing for potable water from hardware store that you know is safe.

Well I was thinking that but to get a 1 inch clear hose fifty feet long would be expensive a hose less.
What kind of hose is drink safe?
