Need advise on moving. I am going to be moving an hour away from where i live now. What have you guys done to break down an entire tank.. i have 150g tank

Brute trash cans are your friend here.
I keep at least enough on hand for all my water and livestock, and I use them for WC's as well.

You can use them for holding vessels, rock in one or some, fish in another.

Corals may need to be contained or kept from touching.

This should get you started at least.

I have ben there a few time my self it not fun but if you can set up another temp tank and transfer some good bio filtration at the new location to keep your coral and fish safe that helps. good luck hope it works out good for you

Providing your established rock stays submerged or at least wet it should be a smooth transition w/ little or no cycle type issues.
Most of your beneficial life is in your rock, not water column, so if you need to make and add new water it's not a big deal, just try to keep your params and new water made as similar as possible.

I would take this time to swap out for new sand, preferably dry, w/ maybe a scoop of old or top half inch of old to seed the new.

Furniture carts, dollys help.

Usually you can siphon or use pumps from brute to brute so heavy lifting is to a minimum.

Brute trash cans is way to go. Just like stated above. Water in one and rock in other submerged in water. You can put corals in plastic bagies with holes in them in the water bucket to prevent from touching or just bag them all up.
Sand. Just use top 1/4 inch to seed aquarium and throw the rest away or rinse thoroughly. Have new water ready at new house to top off.

Nail your local reef club. Membership is cheap and the help is priceless.
