Moving

Storage totes and a car power inverter. Put your rock and coral into the storage totes and put just enough water to cover your coral. Then use a power inverter to run a powerhead to keep water moving. Your coral can last 2 to 3 days without light. Just double check the storage totes that they're food grade safe.
Good luck with your move! :)

Crabs nailed it. I use moving blanket to cover and insulate totes from heat and absorb any splash (if any). If no powerhead, you can use a battery operated air pump and if your driving in the heat- ice packs wrapped and placed between the bins will be helpful

Agree with above. The battery operated air pumps have been a life saver for my tanks inhabitants when traveling. Also, keep the coral away from each other is a good idea. You could use smaller containers inside a larger one. Since you are moving cross country, having some Prime with you might be smart to control ammonia.

I have also used coolers that I have and am moving anyway. You can always bleach them for your use later. Good luck on the move!
