Hi everyone, I ordered a new MP 10 wet side from Ecotech and when I installed it the inside looked just fine. I went to clean it today and when I took it apart there seemed to be a grease looking substance all over on the inside. I was wondering if anyone has experienced this? I have been having coral problems so I was curious if this could be a suspect. Thanks

They ship new with grease to eliminate rust. Just clean it out and you'll be gtg!

It is a medical grade silicone grease used to assist during the initial break-in process of the wet side. Once broken in it is not necessary to regrease as all potential points of friction were worn away during the break-in period.

Forgot to hit on your question about coral issues and that is a definite no the grease is not causing your issues.
