In a 210 reef tank with mostly softies, how many MP40 are best. I currently have two running at another 40% on constant speed.

If its just softies, you can probably get away with two. If your glass isn't too thick, I would think about adding a couple MP 10s to the back or in any area with dead spots.

Glass is 3/4”.

Möbius ready, reeflink or just the controller?

with just softies and / or LPS I don’t see any issues with the two. I’d probably be more inclined to mix the modes up a little if possible. As an example I’d go reef crest on one end and constant on the other then vice Versa every so often on a schedule. Will give you more random flow than linear and most / all coral prefer this.

over time you may need a few more but currently I’d say you are good. After all, your still only running the two at 40%. You have a way to go before deciding if more pumps are needed really.
