MP 40 on 48 In Tank

Need help tuning in an mp40 on a 48in. What should be the recommended intensity% and mode?

Currently have it on on side wall. Thinking of getting another on the opposite wall.

I have 2 mp 40's on my 48in tank. I run them about 60% max but then I switch them to 20% at night. It is a little powerful but the corals seem happy

I had torches on the far en running at 60% and they looking like they were getting blasted.

Yeah they are powerful, I might turn them down just to see if there is a difference.

I have 4 MP40s on my DSA105, which is 48"×24". Two on either ends and one on each side of the back wall. I have SPS; thus, I need strong, random flow, which is achieved with reefcrest mode at 40% for each of them.

Yes, depends on the livestock goals for your tank. MP40 doesn’t reach all that far so I’d judge that an opposing pair would be minimum for a 4’ long tank. For SPS four would be better or even one MP60.
