Mp 40 placement in a 4foot tank

Just wanted to get some people with more experience can I get away with putting the mp 40s on the back or should I just put them on the sides running a mix reef mostly lps and softy and a few sps like 2 I made so picture

If you have sand if they are on the back wall it will push all the sand to the back of the tank I had mine like that and had to put them on each end

1st one, put smaller pumps and out puts on back

Cool thanks for the help one more question would be what is the deepest to put it
I'm thinking the left on 10in down(tank is 21in tall) and the right one like 4in under the water level also the right one would be more middle then the front

I have mine placed about 5 inches below the surface to flow the water over the tops of the rocks. idk if this will help but I purchased 2 VCA nozzles they are awesome for flow if I had a stronger return pump I could get ride of both my vortecs
