I have an mp 40 I just got but the suction on it isn't strong, I seen there's a mount for the cord to hold it up but I don't have that, should it be able to stand up without that cord holder?

It depends on the thickness of the glass. I think the 40 s are good for glass over 1/2 inch thick.

You're going to want to get the piece to attach the cord to the glass. You can get them at lowes or Home Depot in the electrical section. How thick is the glass and are you using the correct spacer? They are pretty strong when set up correctly.

I think something maybe be wrong with this one. I even took the spacer off and it's still not really strong. Glass is only 1/4 thick it's on a 125.

I have it set on the highest one too but still kinda shakes am moves a little

With glass that thin you'll need the foam spacer that comes with it

If I put a spacer it won't stick lol its falling on the thickest setting

Well that's strange .like .kschweer said grab some of those cord holders from the hardware store. Maybe they're required to hold in place e. Honestly I didn't try them without being attached.

Year idk why it's like thats, I can put them on the tank and move it around either if I move the outside piece the inside piece just falls down
