OK, I have a 60x30x24 reef that will be sps dominant. As of now Im running 2 mp40s on one side and one mp40 on other side with a couple tunze 6055s on back wall of single mp40. Been thinking about replacing the two mp40s with one mp60 and keep single mp40 on other side. Would that be a better alternative than what I have now? MP60 is 7500 gph and 2 mp40 is 6400 gph. Opinions please.

Gotta agree with Lee. If you can swing the cost of the 60's, you would not regret it. However, if the tank is new and not stocked with full colonies, the flow you have should be sufficient for a while. You can spend some extra money on SPS frags in the short term and wait for some good used MP60's in a few months. Just a thought. But I am running the 60's and love everything about them. The last powerhead you will ever need...until Ecotech comes out with MP80's (complete joke as I have no knowledge of future products from EcoTech)
