Mp Series Powerheads (Dry Side Down)?

I need more wiring from the dry side to controller, I know its not recommended to install the dry sides facing down, but I was curious how many out there have their pumps like that?

A tad confused... Do you mean splicing in and soldering an extension to the wiring?

You can buy longer cables. Even "extension" cables that plug into the controller, and the other end plugs into the original plug.

Youll find a few options that should suit your needs.

Not sure if ecotech themselves sell them, but you can certainly find them on amazon. Or just buy the correct plug and wire and make your own, if your DIY handy.

Oh i see. You just want the wire pointed down, its fine as long as you mount the wire to prevent the dryside from slamming too hard into the glass if it decouples.

As long as your glass isn't to thick for them to decouple, it's fine pointing down.

Mine would fall off if not supported from the cable facing up, sort of hanging from the wire.

Yeah, my side panels are 3/4" glass. I dont have the hangers installed , I think I will install them.
