I found a guy selling an MP10 with the controller for 190. Good condition, not really used. This vs the AI Nero 3, which would you go for? FOR AN IM NUVO 20, which I plan to upgrade to a 40 gallon later on.

I have both. I prefer the mp10 because it keeps wires out of the tank. If you go with a used MP you may want to make sure its mobius compatable. Some earlier QD models require the RF module to be replaced in order to use it with mobius. Im not sure of production date which they all came mobius ready. I had to upgrade some and change RF modules on a couple.
The neros are kind of a pain to clean also because the long cord is attached to the powerhead. With my MPs I just keep a spare wet side and swap out for cleaning.
I'm not sure a single mp10 or nero 3 will perform in a 40g breeder. I'm think two of either will be needed but I suppose that depends on the coral being kept.

I have never used a Nero powerhead but I would absolutely take the MP10 over any other powerhead. While I do like keeping the wires out of the tank, the biggest advantage IMO is that it is incredibly easy to clean the wetsides. I found with every other type of powerhead I don’t keep up with cleaning them because it is a pain to do.
