MP10 Propeller broke off

Anybody ever have this happen?

Came to the tank and noticed that some red slime had gotten worse at the bottom. I turned off my MP10 and only then realized one of the propellers was gone so the flow must have been really low.

Is this caused by snails getting stuck in?

That is a good question. The cage is pretty small so it would have to be a pretty small critter to get in there. If the Mp10 is fairley new I would suggest contacting Ecotech to see if they will send a warranty replacement.
