Pretty sure the bearings of my mp10 qd got some salt water/rust on them and looking to replace them. Looking for the correct size and type to replace them with. Looking for a high quality replacements even if they are more expensive then own. Thanks in advance

I can't comment if the QD dryside uses the same bearings. I've done bearing replace in the "old" dryside MP10's and got my bearing from BOCA Bearing. I'd open up your dryside and see if you can spec the bearing and contact BOCA. THESE are the bearing I used on my old dryside.

HERE's the write-up I did on my experience of bearing replacement. Unfortunately most pictures aren't there because they were being hosted by Photobucket.

Well, I am about to replace the bearings on an mp10QD. I ordered the bearing size 7x14x5. Let's see if they can fit. I will update the post once I have the parts and time to jump in.

The current MP10 dry side is not the same as the older one, though it’s close enough that it may use the same bearings (I’ve never needed to replace any of them).

The bearings came today. they are 14x7x5. The 14 means the OD is 14mm. they appear to be smaller than the ones I see in the videos, or at least that is my perception. however, I measured and they are 14 OD.

Anyway, the mp10 QD drives use bigger bearings and the rear bearing is even bigger than the front. I put the dry side back and called it a night. :)

So are both bearings 14x7x5? One appears to be smaller

The front bearing of the mp10qd looks like size 16x7x5. The rear bearing looks like the one from the MP40, it is twice as big as the one in the front.

Opening the dry side is a bit different from the videos. The glass side has 3 screws holding down the plastic cover. Peel the rubber a bit to unscrew the plastic cover. The rest is the same.

So does anyone have a definitive answer on the bearing sizes, as I just stumbled across this thread and I am experiencing the same issue. It was a slight clicking sound, that is inching towards grinding. I would like to avoid replacing the entire dry side since I bought this thing 13 months ago. Thanks for the help!

The front or small bearing is 15x6x5 mm
The rear bearing or big bearing is 19x6x6 mm
(od x id x w)

They are both pressed to lock, not easy to remove. The rear bearing is very close to the magnet cylinder like 1mm space between them.

Did you get normal or ceramic? I want ultra high quality for minimal noise

Ya. You can email them and chat. They’re response is writhing a day. They’ve been great helping me with any issue I’ve had
