As the title says, dryside hit the deck when it disconnected and the cable tie mount didn't feel like holding either so there is an unpleasant hum now. Doesn't seem too complicated to open up but I wouldn't know what to look for inside. Would it be the bearings? If so, are they readily available or do I have to order from Ecotech?

Definitely sounds like the bearings IMO. They aren’t the easiest thing to change but there are a few YouTube videos and threads in doing so.

Sadly, there’s variation in the bearings used as well so you’ll need calipers to find the right set.

I bought my MP10 from a member here, said it worked fine. Well, the bearings are bad and the thing is the loudest piece of gear I’ve ever owned. Been running fine for 3 years. Ecotech wanted $70 to fix it.
