MP10QD changes modes by itself

I’ve recently acquired a used MP10QD. I’ve set it to reef crest mode and want it to remain there. When I come back aprox 1-2 hours later I find the unit has moved modes by itself to the constant flow mode. Am I missing something or is this a normal function?

If it's a used pump the previous owner might still have it on a program. best way is to do a hard reset and see if that fixes it. Hold mode and set until the controller flashes red white and blue then hold just the mode button until the controller is flashing red and purple and finally hold mode and option until the controller restarts.

I followed the reset process and saw all the prompts as laid out. Pump did the same thing. Within an hour or two it went back to constant mode. Sounds like it could be issues with the controller of the pump.

I also assume that what I’m experiencing isn’t normal? I’d expect it to stay on reef crest mode if that’s what I set it to.

Well I gave the hard reset a second try. It's been 24 hours since setting it to reef crest mode and it's still there. Thanks for the help with this crabs!
