Is 1 MP10 WES enough for a 30 gallon deep blue 24 X 24 X 12 Frag tank?

I run the same frag tank and my flow comes from an mp10 and a nano korila. The mp would be more than enough on its own, I just use the nano aimed directly über the frag racks to keep and thing from settling.

I would say so. If you put a ton of SPS in there than you might need another mp10 but a MP 40 would be too much IMO.

Just contemplating if maybe I should sell it off and buy 2 nano tunzes or 2 jebao wp10's

I had one on my 60 cube, 24x24x24 and it was 50/50. I think it needed a 40 series or possibly 2 MP10's.

Have exactly same set up bare bottom perfect. Used to have 2 power heads instead to make current. Now everything is open more sps love it.

Thanks for all the info. This tank will PRIMARILY be holding my chalice collection as well as some high end frags of things like zoo's and some SPS. I will be setup and run like a reef tank in that it will have sand and a few small fish in it but the majority of the system will need that flow I think. I guess I can try it with the MP10 because there will not be a lot of rock work. If necessary I will just sell the MP10WES with the extra wetside and purchase 2 MP10's with the proceeds. With those 2 I should have more than enough flow.

I have a mp-10w in my 24x24x24 and is great. I also collect chalices, among with some high end z&p and they are doing perfectly fine.
