MP10wqd Issues

Hi everyone,

I recently got a MP10 off the forum and I am having trouble calibrating it. I have it set up on an LPS heavy biocube 32 so basically anything above 1 or 2 power is way too much. Anyways, I am having trouble keeping the power at level 1. I am using the reef random mode and basically, when I get to that setting, I turn the knob down to 1. However, the past two days I have left the house for a few hours and come back to it on like 50/60% power (level 5 or 6) and absolutely blasting a torch and some hammers.

Why is it doing this?

I have read the manual and don't see any additional instructions for the reef random mode.

I have turned it completely off for the time being as I am afraid my torch get blasted off the calcium base.

Any help from a mp owner would be appreciated.

After you set the max power reef Crest mode will operate at a % of what you set.

Ok. So how do you set the max power?

I always set the power to 1 but then it switches to half power.

Maybe I'm not seting it right?

You set the power by turning the knob. The display will indicate what level you have selected by the number of lights that are lit.
After saving the setting you selected the display will show what % of your setting it is running at.
