I'd like to extend the cable on the vortech mp40 and from what I can tell its just a Molex connection. Would buying a male/female cord be enough or is there something special I need? thanks
Mp40 extension? Regular Molex connections?

EcoTech got back to me and said:
"Thank you for reaching out to us here at EcoTech Marine! In order to have your cable extended on your MP40 unit you will need to send the pump in for service. The extension will double the length of your dryside cable and cost approximately $50 + shipping fees. I do not advise to create your own cable extension on the VorTech pump."
I may still look into a DIY option, but its nice to know if I reeeeally need an extension I can get one. Especially considering it would DOUBLE the length.
