MP40 flow question

I have a 210 (6ft x 2ft x 29 y’all) fully stocked mainly sps tank

I have 3 mp40s

Is it better to have one one each side and one on the back??

OR

Is it better to have one on one side and two on another side with nothing on the back?

Not having problems but I just always wondered about this

My tank isn't near that size but I've seen 180s with 1 on each side and one in the middle on the back wall.
