MP40 killed my bangaii?????

Not got to say it did but I got a pair of bangaii in the tank for over a year and healthy. I recently added two mp40s and one had a broken guard which only cover the front but not the side. Today I found my bangaii got stuck on the side where there was no cover.

my float rates were set to 20-25% only

I have heard horror stories about it, come on ecotech.

This is likely a weak fish and not the power head itself. A fish in good health should be able to resist the draw from pump and resist the flow in addition
 
I agree with vetteguy53081. Had MP40s and MP60 for 8 years. One or two fish got sucked in, but all of them were weakened/sick.
I create storms from time to time and fish are able to resist it. BTW, I have 3 Pajama Cardinals.
