MP40 placement advice in a 5ft tall tank

I have an odd tank thats approx 5ft tall, 12in forward to back, and 22in wide. I decided on the Vortech pumps because with a tank that deep i really didnt want 4ft of cable inside the glass, the 4 more feet outside of it at a terrible eyesore. My Issue with MP40s are that you cant aim the head up or down like most other pumps on the market, so how would you guys do this?? My pumps arrive tomorrow and i still have absolutely no clue the best method to mount these buggers. Pardon the fake decor. Needed something in there for color until the real stuff goes in!

note the return pump jet below the main shelf, and the overflow is simply a drop pipe without a weir.

Considering thay are rated for 4000gph and cost a pretty penny i hope i wont need more than 2!! Haha.

Thinking bottom right side for the 1st and middle left back wall for the 2nd
