Guys, finally got water in my new tank (build is under the link below). One of my MP40QDs is making too much noise. The other one is relatively quiet. I tried moving it around a little, twisting, up, down, sideways, still the same. Sounds like a mix of banging and high vibration noise. Quite audible. I used the spacers that came with them using the right glass thickness. Should I try a different spacer (wider or narrower) or do I call Ecotech? Thanks, guys.

can you disassemble the wet side and clean it thoroughly, and check if that resolves the sound. For me, that solved this exact issue

Have you swapped wetsides to see if the noise 'follows' one or not? If they are new, you may have a defective unit. It is true that these pumps require a break in period.
