MP40 problem

Anyone have issues with your MP40s randomly turning up without setting them to and not letting you turn it down? Past few days I’ve had to unplug but it doesn’t fix the issue as it’ll do it again in a day or so.

I did and it worked for a day and tonight it sped up again. Light stays on green, wireless connection is fine I have it set to the third light and it will change itself to 6/7th light. When I reset or unplug and plug back in I’m able to adjust the speed however when it does it on its own I can’t adjust the speed at all.

Green light is constant setting, it shouldn't change at all unless you have it slaved to another pump or to an apex controller. And you did the HARD reset not just clear the memory? There are multiple versions of resetting a vortech pump and the above video is the hard reset that wipes the memory. You said wireless connection is fine - how did you verify? And thirdly, when you can't adjust a vortech pump means it's slaved to another or a controller.

They stayed unplugged all night, I assumed wireless was fine as the W is lit up like normal. Still no idea why it randomly changes but as of right now it’s working. Best I can come up with is that lately with the weather we have been having faulty internet connections. Thank you all for explaining how these work. I’m still learning the mechanics of saltwater world.
