hello I have just got a used mp40 and when setting it up the propellor seems to have a hard time rotating causing vibration. Do I have to buy a new propellor or does it need something else?

How thick is the tank you're putting it on? Did it have the spacers to put on the dryside?hello I have just got a used mp40 and when setting it up the propellor seems to have a hard time rotating causing vibration. Do I have to buy a new propellor or does it need something else?

It is on standard 75 gallon tank I believe it's 3/8 thick and yes I took it apart and it looks like that I didn't have any tools to loosen to take it all apart and put it back together. It seems as if the screw is too tight for the propellor to moveThey don't sell the parts for repairing the wet sides any more. Someone here was able to get the screw from Ecotech for $5; I have played with a few of these old style wet sides and from experience, when they have this problem, replacing the screw does not fix the problem. Check the magnet and the frame cover. Sometimes it is better just to buy a brand new wet side!...
