Buy a short 1-3' extension cable on Amazon. My mp40 isn’t reaching the eb832 outlet after tank move . Any tried suggestion
Will this work for ecotech with no issues ?
I was thinking that but I didn’t know if there is a particular oneExtension cord?
Of course! I use these on almost every device so I can disconnect at a halfway point in the tank as opposed to having to unhook everything back to the EB832.Will this work for ecotech with no issues ?
I’m thinking of running extension cord to the eb832 so that eb832 can sit under the tank on far end side. This way my calcium reactor and mp40s on this end can fit . What do you think of eb832 having extension cord to its outletOf course! I use these on almost every device so I can disconnect at a halfway point in the tank as opposed to having to unhook everything back to the EB832.
It literally just extends the existing cord. There's nothing special about cords going from a piece of equipment to a power supply. What do you think of eb832 having extension cord to its outlet
This is exactly what I think. It literally just extends the existing cord. There's nothing special about cords going from a piece of equipment to a power supply.
I moved eb832 near powerheads but now aquabus cable doesn’t reach. Would target or Walmart carry aquabus cable?Other solutions would be:
Or... extension cord?
- move tank back
- install electrical outlet closer to new tank location
- run powerheads on battery backup
- buy powerhead of other brand, with longer cable
That’s good info . I just ordered on Amazon usb 2.0Any USB A to USB A cord will work.
The only difference between USB A and an aquabus cable is the USB can carry power, where the aquabus only carries data. Which is perfectly fine as long as you only plug the regular USB cable into aquabus port to aquabus port.
Where people run into issues is when they try and plug a regular USB into a PC then an aquabus port and fry the port because they are not suppose to carry power like a normal USB.
