Mp40 question

I have a 72in X 24in X 29inch tall tank

I have 3 mp40s (1 on each side and 1 on the back)

Should I have the BACK MP40 on a high percent all throughout the day? Or should I have it on a lower percent

Currently my two side ones run different schedules throughout the day at 100%

I run a mixed reed but mostly sps

I am assuming these are not the wireless MP40s? If they are, why not connect them and let them talk and coordinate speeds?

Oh no they are! My two on the sides are all connected and do different schedules throughout the day at 100%

My question is, should I sync the back mp40 to the side ones also at 100% ??

Currently I have the back mp40 on its own schedule maxing out at 30% just because I thought it would be too much flow on all my coral?

You have the absolute minimum mp40 setup for a tank that size so let em rip!

(You'll prolly need more flow after your corals grow out.)

Mostly sps and it’s pretty packed out and coral are doing good! I think I will sync that back powerhead to this master schedule

BTW I'm not convinced as to whether there's any benefit to slowing down pumps at night. Great and fine if you're doing it for a specific reason. But if you're doing it "just because" then consider doing it differently in case different is better.....low flow on mp40's is definitely going to let detritus settle. They don't even have tons of power (flow velocity) at 100%.

Honestly this might be dumb but I did it just because I thought I would give coral and pods and fish a break from flow....should I just say screw jt and keep it on 100% reef crest all night?
