Are these two cracks in the white plastic base something to worry about for risk of exposure leading to any leaching?

Not yet, but likely in the future.

The cracks in the ceramic have nothing to do with the seal on the magnet and the shaft is already made for exposure. It's not good but it is not doom and gloom either.
