Mp40 sounds like a jet engine taking off.

Pretty much. Brand New. I can hear it from over 10 feet away. I can hear it over my own tv. What gives?

What percentage? You said it was brand new? Usually the higher the percentage you keep the pump at the louder it is, but it shouldnt be that loud if it is new, I would give ecotech a call!
