Do you guys install your pumps directly across from each other on both sides of the tank, or do you offset them at all? Mine are going to be master/slave one on each side. Right now they are directly facing each other but it would be better if one was 6" to the left due to my aquascaping. Will it matter to have them work together?

Mine are on the opposite sides of the tank, not facing each other. I also have them both level'ed at different depths.

Opposite sides, offset front and back. I run my back head lower down and in anti sync to the master. Creates a nice gyre effect.
