Mp40s vs gyre?

Im getting a new tank soon, and its 60.5"×25.3"×21.7.

and i was wondering if i should go with 2 mp40s, or gyres? Its going to be mixed reef.

as someone whos had both, if the decision was up to me i would do mp40s.

They are very different pumps. I use both here in my tank.
If you have to pick one type, I would start with the MP40s.
I feel that they can give you more flexibility in terms of flow for a mixed reef.

I use two MP40s on the back down low, and two gyres on the back up top. Four foot tank. If I had to choose, I would go with gyres (Jump 4K). I struggled with the positioning of the MP40s because the flow is so concentrated. Eventually I set them so they are blowing at rock work to disperse the flow. I wouldn't use less than four pumps on a tank that size.
