MP40w questions

Just picked up a used MP40w and trying to figure out the best placement and mode for my tank. It is not currently hooked up. Right now, I still have my two modded tunze 6025, mod mj1200, and K4. What do you suggest I keep along with the mp40 and where do I also place these?

The tank is a 90g with corner overflow. I do have about 3" of sand.

I would first try the middle of the other side away from the overflow and see how that goes.

That's what I was thinking, but what about how far up? I don't want sand blowing around, but how far up can I put it before it's splashing my t5s?

Also any comment on placement of other powerheads. I don't want their flow to be counterproductive to the mp40s.

Hmmm well hard to say. I would try about middle and then move it accordingly. Start with it on as low a setting as it will go and move it up. Trial an error really. If it were me, I would put the vortech on the side and try my best to hide the other powerheads. I would think you could get away with the mp40 and the two 6025's? Maybe put them on the back wall for a cleaner look?
